Cavatappo

Cavatappo (corkscrew in Italian) is Luca Marcato’s new family of restaurant in New York City. Hailing from Milan, Marcato brings a New York bite to his delicious, inventive Milanese cuisine.

Cavatappo Grill

Cavatappo Grill is located on the site of his former “Luca” restaurant. It offers both a dining room for complete dining experience and wine bar, where you can pull up a chair at one of the bar’s communal tables displaying hundreds of corks underneath and enjoy a glass of wine - more than 70 varieties. The attractive, relaxed atmosphere, with brick walls displaying a selection of corkscrews from around the world and innovative, delicious menu, offers a complete dining and wine experience.  

The menu includes “Luca” favorites such as the duck ragù and homemade pastas, including spinach ricotta ravioli, joined by more casual offerings including fried calamari, individual pizzas, burgers and panini. 

Cavatappo Wine Bar

Essential to the Cavatappo experience are the wine bars which offer a comprehensive selection of more than 70 varieties from around the world. To help make your choice, they’re organized by their varietal style, “Soft, Supple and Easy Drinking” and “Full Bodied and Robust” Enhance the experience with our artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and savory sandwiches, or something sweet like our pastry filled with poached pears and Gorgonzola. In addition, we have included a wide selection of international beers and cocktails to our menu.

If you’re looking to host a party, Cavatappo is here to help. The Wine Bar uptown offers a ‘wine cellar’ setting that can cater a private party of up to 25. Cavatappo Grill or the Wine Bar downtown are perfect for parties up to 60.
